Vita et Pax embarked on their digital marketing journey with Tillison when they wanted to increase their student enrolments across all age groups as well as enhance brand awareness in the local community.
With open days coming up and student enrolment numbers to hit we decided that a local SEO strategy would help achieve their goals.
With Google Business Profile optimisation at the forefront of any local SEO strategy, the team of specialists here at Tillison reviewed and optimised the listing ensuring service areas were up to date and keyword-rich content was added.
Regular posts were added to the Google Business Profile as well as new photos to encourage customer engagement.
Alongside Google Business Profile management we worked on citation management and local link building.
Next, we carried out a site-wide audit to review local ranking signals and opportunities, while integrating this local approach with our keyword ranking strategy. A technical overhaul of the site was carried out and any performance issues affecting visibility were addressed.
With brand awareness in the near community increasing through local search optimisation, direct traffic to the website had increased by 24% in just a few months.
In addition to this, the schools’ Google Business profile started appearing in more search and map results, causing organic traffic to increase by 14%.
After 3 months the Google Business Profile listing saw a 600% increase in visibility, with a 336% increase in customer calls directly from the listing.
