Rinkit is a limited company run by childhood friends which sells a large range of home and garden products from their base in West Sussex. Rinkit first approached us in February 2016 to try and identify the best way to drive sales through their own website rather than through the different marketplaces they were using.
Our challenge with this was to gain sales at a cost per acquisition that will make the company a profit while also looking at ways to increase sales. Rinkit’s directors also wanted to find a partner organisation rather than just an agency that could manage their PPC campaigns and that understood their business.
With limited margins on certain products, we worked closely with the team at Rinkit to identify areas that were going to bring them in the return on ad spend that they required. This meant starting out small and proving the worth of Google Shopping, slowly expanding this out into other channels as we went along.
Our gradual approach to this PPC campaign paid off with return on ad spend increasing from 6:1 to 9:1 after just a few months. Over the course of a year, Rinkit’s revenue increased fourfold, and conversion rates went up 25%.
