Based just outside of Bath, Modern Mirror Design is a dynamic, forward-thinking business selling mirrors of all shapes and sizes, all of supreme quality and in the latest contemporary designs. Tillison Consulting was approached by Modern Mirror Design as the business was seeking help in improving its brand presence in the sector and more importantly, increasing sales through its website.
Modern Mirror Design’s Operations Manager needed to find a company that they could work with over the long term and one that would help them to become one of the biggest home decor eCommerce stores in the UK, at least for mirrors and home accessories.
Our initial strategy was based on increasing revenue for the business as quickly as possible and in doing so creating a cash surplus that could be invested back into the business. This initial work consisted of setting up and managing Google Ads and Google Shopping campaigns for the company in order to drive potential customers through to their online store.
Once Google Ads and Shopping campaigns were delivering an impressive amount of sales and increased turnover, a more integrated marketing strategy was devised by our Senior Strategist. He recommended a more holistic approach not only to increase website visitors to the home furnishings website, but also to adopt brand awareness and engagement strategies, which would help corner a large part of a very competitive home decor market. This approach consisted of improving their organic rankings through an ongoing SEO project and improving their presence on social media platforms, all while continuing to drive sales through the Pay Per Click strategy.
In the first year of the project, our marketing strategy paid handsome returns, increasing Modern Mirror Design’s monthly sales by an amazing 274%.
The momentum persisted into the second year as Tillison integrated Facebook PPC ads with Google Ads Search and Google Shopping campaigns. This comprehensive approach resulted in a continued surge in overall sales, marking an additional 118% increase. Concurrently, strategic efforts to optimise the site for SEO purposes led to a remarkable monthly organic traffic uptick of 125%. Notably, the targeted SEO keywords now consistently hold positions within the top three spots in Google’s organic rankings.
