On April 30th, 2019, Tillison Consulting brought Hampshire’s tastiest networking event, Curry Business, back to Waterlooville in aid of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
The evening saw the Waterlooville-based digital marketing agency bring together working professionals from across Hampshire together for an evening of laid-back networking and some of the best Indian cuisine the county has to offer at Shalimar, Waterlooville. The 15 diners in attendance also managed to raise £75 for HIOWAA, which brings an advanced Critical Care Team to people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight when they need it most.
Mark Tillison, Managing Director at Tillison Consulting, said: ‘We love the fact that we get to take Curry Business all around Hampshire, but there’s always a very special atmosphere whenever we bring the event back to our home base of Waterlooville.
The latest Curry Business Waterlooville definitely did not disappoint and it was a pleasure to dine with local businesspeople – whether they were first-time attendees or our frequent fellow curry admirers – at my favourite Indian restaurant.
‘It was also awesome that we could raise some cash for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, which is one of the area’s most vital causes and deserves everyone’s unfettered support.’
Marie Baxter, Corporate Fundraiser for the chosen charity, said: ‘The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance would like to thank Tillison Consulting for arranging this fantastic networking event in aid of HIOWAA.
‘Every penny collected will go towards the £15,000 a day it costs to keep this life saving service airborne and Critical Care Vehicles on the road.’
Tillison Consulting are now looking ahead to returning to Winchester for the next Curry Business event on May 13th. The team from Charles Hope Apartments will be hosting the event at Gandhi Restaurant, Winchester from 7pm, with proceeds going to The Rainbow Centre.
