Pure Human Resources Join Forces With Team Tillison to Host Curry Business Romsey

Curry Business Romsey - Tillison Consulting

On March 13th, 2019, Tillison Consulting brought Hampshire’s tastiest networking event, Curry Business, to Romsey with the help of hosts Pure Human Resources.

Business professionals from across Hampshire joined the digital marketing agency for an evening of laid-back networking and delicious Asian cuisine at Koh Thai Tapas, Romsey, all while raising a total of £110 for local young people’s charity Youth In Romsey.

Mark Tillison, Managing Director at Tillison Consulting, said: ‘We haven’t held a Curry Business event in Romsey since the end of 2016, so we were very eager to join forces once again with the Pure Human Resources team and see some new and familiar faces.

‘Thank you to everyone who came along for our latest serving of chat, chow and charity, to our superb hosts at Pure HR and to the staff at Koh Thai Tapas for their hospitality and the delicious feast – we’ll definitely be back for more soon!’

‘We were chuffed to bits about the amazing turnout at our Curry Business event at Koh Thai Tapas,’ added Stephanie Barnett, Managing Director at Pure Human Resources. ‘From our perspective, it was a great mix of known business contacts and new faces who were curious to find out more about our HR consultancy services and training courses.

‘Having the chance to showcase ourselves, our lovely town of Romsey, and one of our favourite after-hours haunts at the same time as networking with a wide variety of businesses and raising funds for a local charity was brilliant for business – and a pleasure too.’

Youth in Romsey provides services such as employment support, career guidance, counselling, sexual health advice, school drop-ins, clubs and courses to young people aged 6-25, helping them to  navigate challenges and make informed decisions about their lives.

Wendy Herbert, Manager at Youth In Romsey, said: ‘We had a lovely evening with really good food, and it was great to meet businesses from Hampshire.

‘We spoke to many interested individuals about our organisation, and the money raised from the event will be going towards our new initiative of building confidence with young girls through a self-defence programme, which we plan to start in September.’

Tillison Consulting are now looking ahead to their next Curry Business event, which will be on home turf at Shalimar, Waterlooville on April 30th. Registration for the event is now open, with MD Mark taking on hosting duties himself and proceeds from the evening going to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
