Bagnificent Performance

Gerry scheduled some online AdWords consultations with me to improve the results she was getting for her online handbag boutique.

Being a typical woman, I love handbags. All handbags, from famous designers to High Street brands. However, I did not like the huge price tags that went with these. I therefore decided to start Bagnificent so that I could offer all handbags at a more affordable price.

Once the website was up and running, I began to think about advertising and ways to get traffic to my site. I created an AdWords account but didn’t really know what I was doing and was throwing my money away – getting clicks but no sales.

I booked 3, one-hour sessions with Mark Tillison to get my campaign up and running and working properly.

Mark’s patience eventually worked, keeping the first two sessions very basic and I understood what was required with AdWords and how this was going to be achieved.

Our third session was a few weeks after first sessions so that patterns on figures could be properly assessed and ads, keywords etc could be properly reviewed.

My click through rate is now really good; nothing lower than 2.5% with some up over 10% – pretty good considering my campaign only started in earnest at the beginning of January.

I monitor my campaign every day and tweak it as necessary, but I plan to have Mark assess my campaign on monthly basis as I feel his input is invaluable.
