Everything5Pounds Case Study

Everything5Pounds (E5P) are an online e-commerce store selling clothes and accessories.  With online retailers facing the challenge of being seen on the internet and the increase in competition, stores have a real challenge to get their products seen in this competitive market.  Tillison started working with E5P in 2011 and using a combination of PPC, SEO, AdWords and Social Media have helped the company see a dramatic upturn in business that resulted in them having to move to bigger premises twice and to upgrade their server 4 times.

In the beginning E5P had a business strategy to become a major player in the online fashion market.  They understood that Digital Marketing was a strategy they needed to master to help them reach their goals, but had dipped their toe in, and had been relatively unsuccessful.  Initially they had a Google AdWords account and Facebook page.

After taking over the running of their Google AdWords account we were starting to see improved results within a few weeks.  This continued on an upward curve and in November 2014 their conversions saw a fourfold increase over this period and their Cost per Conversion decrease by 24%.

To complement the AdWords campaign Tillison took over the management of their Social Media Feeds.  The Facebook account was active (8,500 fans), but had little engagement or interaction with its fans.  Within 2 years of working on the accounts we had hit 1 million fans for Facebook and 15,000 followers on Twitter, through a combination of Posts/Tweets, Adverts, promotions and Promoted Posts/Tweets.

In 2013 we also started working on SEO for Everything 5 Pounds and managed this for a year.  During this time we increased their website traffic by 30% by improving the rankings for 26 key search terms.  Again in a highly competitive market this is a great result, with managed to help the client achieve even more sales and an excellent return on investment.

Overall the success of this project has come from choosing the right initial strategy for the company and then integrating this with other complimentary services over time to multiple the effect to increase website traffic and sales.
